Dark times have arrived. The forces of evil are now making their move, and the Brotherhood has already been all but eradicated. The forces of good must band together to stop the evil from spreading further and causing more destruction.
An army of Ratkin, led by a coalition of war chiefs and blight lords, march to wage war against all living things who would oppose them. The army consisted of 2 hordes of blight, 2 hordes of shock troops, a horde of brutes, a regiment of spear warriors, 2 blight lords, 2 war chiefs, and a warlock. A fearsome force indeed, with the undeniable intent of slaying thousands of innocents. This cannot stand....
In an attempt to buy time while the other forces of good gear up for the great war to come, the salamanders took it upon themselves to halt the flea-ridden beasts' legion in its tracks. Led by a mage and his herald, a force was dispatched to combat the rats. This force consisted of 2 hordes of primes, 2 regiments of kaisenor lancers, the whispering scales special forces unit, a horde of ancients on rhinosaurs, a troop of corsairs, and 2 fire elementals. A respectable task force, but would it be enough to halt the ratkin advance?
Soon enough, the 2 armies met on the field, and a bloody battle erupted. the whispering scales and lancers faced down the blights on one flank, while the majority of the salamanders force bet the remainder of the ratkin on the other. The fighting was vicious, and the salamanders were invigorated from the heat due to being so close to the abyss. However, the ratkin force was superior to that of the salamanders, and surely enough, the ranks of the brave warriors broke, and the salamanders were scattered to the wind in a crushing defeat.
The salamanders, valiant as they were, were unable to stay the ratkin's advance. Hopefully the duration of this battle bought the necessary time for the forces of good to adequately prepare for the battles to come. And how will the salamanders respond, having been defeated so easily? Only time will tell.....
A good report, but I want more painted soldiers in the armies!
Thats a battle I would have wanted to see in person
I agree with paladin314. The game sounds like it was fun, How’d you like the Whispering Scales unit?
Two armies you don’t see often. Wish I saw them more.
