Edge of the Abyss

Hi guys ! First of all let me apologize for the loosy quality of the pics : I had to take it with my old phone because my camera didn't work.

This was the first scenario of the book so the Evil camp had the first turn.

Turn 1 AD :

Not much to say for the beginning : the whole army made a massive advancing move and one of the Katsuchan rocket launcher got a small injury on one of my High Paladin on Dragon.

Turn 1 Basilea :

On my left flank the first horde of Elohi charged the Halfbreed but failed to destroy them in spite of 8 hits. The injured dragon used his breath attack on the first troop of gargoyles and paralised them. At the center the other Elohi horde charged the halfbreed champion and killed him. My war wizard and my phoenix both shot the other gargoyles troop and destroyed them. My last dragon used his breath attacks too on the last gargoyles troop and made 5 injuries but after a double 1 they stayed still. My Ur-Elohi healed one damaged point on the left flank dragon.

Turn 2 AD :

Those same gargoyles charged my paladin knights but didn't do anything serious. The overmaster on abyssal dragon advanced in front of my Paladins and Domitius. The halfbreed countercharged my left flank elohi horde and made 7 injuries but it was not enough to make them go. The other elohi horde at the center got charged by one golems horde and had the exact same amount of injuries and did not go either. The remaining forces just advenced 'cause they didn't have anything else to do.

Turn 2 Basilea :

On my left flank the elohi horde charged once again the halfbreed regiment and killed them ! The other elohi horde charged the golems at the center with the help of my dragon and failed to destroy them after 12 injuries inflicted. My phoenix healed 3 damage points on those same elohi. Each of my swordsmen regiment charged a different horde of golem on my left flanc, the one on my extreme left helped by the dragon which charged this same golem horde on the flank. In both cases, injuries made but not enough to kill anyone. My U-Elohi killed the injured gargoyles on my left flank ; le paladin knights killed the ultimate gargoyles troop on the right flank. Domitius and the paladins charged the abyssal dragon and made some injuries but not enough to make him worry about it. My war witch (yep, it's a woman ^^) casted some fireballs on Dravak Dalken and got just one damage point.

Turn 3 AD :

The abyssal dragon charged and paralised one of my paladins regiment. 2 greater obsidian golems charged my paladin knights on my right flank and smashed them easily. At the center the golem horde counter charged my elohi horde and sent them back to the mont Kolosu. On my left flank both of the golem hordes charged their respective swordsmen opponents and one got killed, the other saved by a double 1. Dravak casted his own fireballs on my witch and injured her 6 times but not enough to kill her.

Turn 3 Basilea :

Another grouped charge permitted to kill the abyssal dragon thanks to Domitius and the paladins. (The paralised one successfouly got its headstrong test). The dragon on the left and the elohi charged with the surviving swordsmen one of the golem horde and killed them easily. At the center the spearmen horde and the Ur-Elohi charged the other golem horde and killed them too. On the center the dragon charged the injured golem horde and destroyed them.

Turn 4 AD :

Infernok charged this same dragon and made some damages but not enough. The two Katsuchan rocket launcher injured my intact paladins regiment and the left flank dragon. Dravak casted some new fireballs on my witch but failed to kill her. On my right flank the three greater obsidian golems and the last golem horde converged in direction of the center. The slavedriver used his diadem of the dragon keen on the swordsmen survived thanks to many previous healed casts.

Turn 4 Basilea :

Swordsmen charged the slavedriver but the few injuries inflicted weren't enough to kill him. Both of my dragons charged infernok but failed to destroy it (definitly the best creation of Dravak Dalken). The Ur-Elohi charged Dravak and killed him ! The elohi horde charged and destroyed one of the rocket launcher. The phoenix healed one of my dragons. Domitius healed one damaged point on my witch. This same witch that inflicted one damage point on the last reamaining horde of golems.

Turn 5 AD :

The abyssal forces didn't have much left. The slave driver could not do anything. Infernok tried to kill my injured dragon but failed to do anything decisive. The last golems horde charged the paladins previously injured and killed them.

Turn 5 Basilea :

Domitius, the witch and the remaining paladin regiment charged the last golem horde but failed to kill them. Infernok finally got killed by both of the dragons ! The Elohi charged the last warmachine and turned it into pieces. The swordsmen charged once again the slave driver and paralised it.

Turn 6 AD :

The golems horde charged my witch, killed her, and continued their charge on the remaining paladins but did not killed them.

Turn 6 Basilea :

The Swordsmen killed the slave driver, finaly. Spearmen, paladins and domitius charged the golems and killed that last horde. Both dragons charged a different greater obsidian golem with no effect.

Turn 7 AD :

Two greater obsidian golems charged one of my dragon and killed him. The last one counter charged my other dragon but he survived.

Turn 7 Basila :

The phénix and the elohi charged the injured obsidian golem and turned it into pieces, and the other got destroyed by my last dragon !

In the end of the 3000 points on each side game I still had 1445 points on the table and my opponent had 300 points.

MAJOR VICTORY !!!
