2250 points of Good Kingdoms of Men (Romans with a Roman list) + 750 points of Good Undead face off agains the Evil hoards of Blutac Undead.
Turn 1:
The 3 catapults and 3 small bolt throwers waiver and rout a few troops of Gouls in the centre of the battlefield.
The Mythical Zombie Dragon and Roman Cavalry charge up the right Flank.
On the left two Roman Regiments foolishly advance.
Turn 2:
This turn sees another foolish advance on the left flank, which results in a sneaky flank charge from Lykanis. This cost me the left flank.
Meanwhile the Vampire Cavalry won't die on the right, causing the hoard of Gouls with Helm of the Ram to rape the Zombie Dragon in the rear, un-hindered with 75 attacks at Thunderous (2).
Now both flanks are gone.
Turn 3 & 4:
The centre of the blutac Undead is removed by more shooting with the last regiment of Zombies hammered by a double regiment charge of hindered Romans.
Turns 5 & 6:
The Vampire Cav on the right are waivered and then routed. But it's all over for the Romans now.
Turn 7:
A few Romans survive along with an army standard bearer and musician.
The use of historical armies is very interesting, uniquely like! The first time I see the historical army in action. It’s a pity we have not collected them yet …
Interesting table mat. I would have liked to see more buildings on it.
It’s almost like real history. the undead (Christianity has brought the roman empire to its knees) :-p
Go Undead =P
Sounds like a grindfest
