Edge of the Abyss

With hundreds of battles already shaping the fate of Mantica, this weekend the Kings of War Edge of the Abyss campaign enters its final stretch and we’re delighted to say the deadline for submitting your battles has been extended until Monday, October 2nd – so you’ve got two more days to make sure your chosen side takes the spoils!

The balance has shifted throughout the course of the campaign and after an all-powerful start by the forces of Evil, the allies of the Green Lady have rallied under her banner and the forces of Good currently have the advantage. However, that could all change as we approach the final hours.

What’s more, on Saturday the dedicated Kings of War community will be holding the third International Campaign Day. Players from all over the world will be battling it out across the course of 24 hours in a series of scenarios themed around the Edge of the Abyss. It’s not too late to get involved and you can check out the Facebook page for more details.

These are no ordinary tournament games however, as they will be affected by games played as far east as Australia – and will, in turn, affect games played in the Americas later that day! Whatever the results, you can be certain that the narrative arc will be completed on this day and that Mantica will be changed by your actions on the field of battle.

There’s even the opportunity to take part in the International Campaign Day at Mantic HQ! It’s all to play for and we won’t dare try and call the result… even at this late stage.
