It was one of the first battles of the Campania in our club. We did a little photo, photos of our game were edited by my opponent-undead.
The arrangement is standard, linear. The mission's goal - to come to the enemy half of the table - does not look complicated.
The opponent had an artifact, forcing to exhibit more units - D3 + 1. On the roll of the cube was 2. Lol, I expose my wolves - the artifact strongly did not stop me.
In the first moves there was nothing interesting - only maneuvers. The undead lacked spells that deal damage and you could relax. On my right flank there were two catapults of the undead, but one of them I immediately destroyed with their ogre-shooters.
The superiority of forces on this flank was in my favor, there was also a hero - the ghosts of the opponent could not pass. However, on the other flank, I had to come to terms with their attack of my horde-warband - I sacrificed wolves for the attack of the zombie legion. Because of the opponent's error, I was able to attack and destroy the mummies. The cavalry suffered damage, but as a whole I was able to disassemble the right flank without losses, and the kind of superiority of forces would be in my direction. But...
Because of the nasty Wave spell, I could quickly attack from different sides. As a result, the Sons of Korgaan were destroyed almost without losses from the deployed zombies, and later I lost my cavalry. However, the characters worked well - the Damned Son killed the necromancer, and the hero on the juggernaut was able to restrain the onslaught of zombies and ghosts.
At the end of the game, I was able to go into the enemy zone of the arrangement of their heroes, my leg was infiltrated by a zombie legion. Since the size in this mission is not the main thing, it turned out to be a draw.
Battlefield looks amazing.
Good job.
Nice batrep! @Darth there are times I’ve felt that my leg was being infiltrated by a legion, especially after dropping a hobby knife into my thigh.
I’m just chuckling at your leg being invaded by a legion
Heh, a tense battle against a very strong army. But in fact – it was fun)
