6 regiments of knights! And 3 lots of banechant for the prolonged grind. I've put his list together as best I recall, though it seems to be over 2000pts, so I may be remembering. And I've only got two speed 8 units. I'm going to take a lot of charges and lose most of them. That's OK, most of my army is chaff, and reapers have a decent chance of taking on a regiment especially if they have a little support. It's going to be important to have as many hindered charged on his side as possible.

The scenario is push. Not brilliant for either of us. His knights won't appreciate being reduced to speed 5. My army is slow and no unit is guaranteed to survive the battle.

I was determined not to make the same mistake as last time – my reapers got stuck behind wavered troops. The 'crows won't waver so that won't be a problem. I made a different mistake though – not discussing terrain before the battle. I assumed the rubble was difficult terrain. Badrott assumed it wasn't. We played it as decorative, which made his knights quite a bit stronger in the centre than I was expecting.

I think Badrott made a mistake in lining three knight regiments up behind each other. They couldn't pivot out of the way of each other. Unfortunately I didn't punish this. I should've charged the front knights with the 'crows to hold them in place as the reapers went round the sides.

In the end, Badrott won in the centre and on the left, and my victory on the right wasn't enough, especially since the loot wasn't on that side. I think I should have had another troop of reapers in the centre.
