The Roman KoM (with a Roman Historical list) vs the Egyptian Undead.
The Egyptian Undead went first, shooting off a catapult with Enslaved Guardians and advancing onto objectives.
The Romans responded by shooting off a unit of enslaved Guardians and advancing their line.
The Egyptians raced their flying scarabs up the left Roman flank.
The Romans turned to face and unleashed a volley of pillum but the scarabs held steady.
The Romans charged but for all the effect it had they may have well slapped the enemy with fish.
The Egyptians healed their wounds and counter charged with devastating effect.
The Romans charged in again even with a couple of flanks but they may have well just used fish instead of swords because they didn't kill anything.
Finally the Romans managed to break a hoard of Egyptian Skeletons and claim one forest as well as shoot off the last Enslaved Guardians.
But the enemy had won 8 victory points to 2.
It’s been a long time since I’ve read the work ‘fishmalk’…
Beautiful report, showing us all how its done. Also showing that infantry can win battles.
Great pics and batrep! Perhaps next time the Romans should slap the Egyptians with a fish, that could be an unknown secret weapon? Or maybe it’s just the thoughts of a Fishmalk …
A plenty of nice pictures and both armies look great! It must have been a good fun when Egyptian army faced the Roman one in this setting. What did they do in the forest of Galahir. I guess some nasty abyssal mage and a green lady have opened portals for them to get there. 🙂
Roman forces look amazing. Nice idea!
At least they failed looking good, really nice epic look to the battle.
Poor Romans
