We played a 1,250 point game, Scenario 1: On the Precipice
I decided to try a completely different army build to what I usually play, it was definitely different but I admit the dice were my friends as well.
Mhorgoth was definitely my star (as he should be!), First turn he wavered a Beast Pack with a Lightning Bolt, then over the course of the next two turns his Heal spell kept a Werewolf Regiment alive that was locked in combat with a Brutox (who finally was routed by a combined charge from the Werewolves and a Wraith troop). In the middle of the game he was able to Surge units into combat and at the end of the game he routed the Shaman with a Fireball.
The Barrow Wights were able to charge the flank of the Stampede in turn 2, routing it. This definitely was the biggest moment in the game, freeing up a few of my units while removing his biggest threat (in my opinion).
The Lycans and Guardian Brutes were able to rout my Werewolves and Wraiths. The Ghouls were routed by a Beastpack after two turns of them fighting each other...
The Results: Undead victory
The Herd: 690 Kill Points
Undead: 1250 Kill Points
The game was definitely a fun one and much closer than the Kill points show, only Mhorgoth and the Barrow Wights remained at the end of the game.
