The area is burdting with magic energy and spells are plus two die to roll.
Ratkin have capatlised on this with three Warlocks and one with the artifact giving an additional plus 2 lightening bolts!
So 23 lightening bolts were unleashed at single targets most turns!
Then with three ratty weapons teams backing them up.
Ratkin had a gun line!
The hills were hindering terrain as they were sandy dunes.
Varangur mistakenly set up behind the hill forgetting it was hindered terrain and delayed there own advancement a turn.
This mistake cost them dearly.
Varangur grouped up to sweep a flank.
The night raiders and poachers tried and almost succeded in popping one of the ratty warlocks.
The Varangur advance was delayed by hindrring hills.
The rats advance up into the reduced charge range.
